The Herbal Strategi story was born out of a personal medical issue. Our founder faced asthmatic bouts and upper respiratory issues. "Hetha" as an organisation was born in Oct 2015 with the belief that it was possible to run an ethical dairy with indigenous cows. During this time frame dairies meant only milk and meat from buffaloes and European cows namely H.F and Jersey. Indigenous cows were considered unproductive and unuseful. The idea was to build an ethical company around indigenous cows which runs without donations by manufacturing products from milk, cow urine, cow dung. Hetha now has over 1000+ indigenous cows and bulls of Gir, Sahiwal, Tharparkar and Himalayan Badri breed. We also do organic farming using only cow dung from indigenous bulls/cows and grow wheat, rice, millets, pulses, etc. Over 100+ milk and Panchagavya products are manufactured and sold worldwide. 80 employees from rural background manage 3 sites: *Hetha Ghaziabad *Hetha Bulandshahr *Hetha Uttarakhand Old cows and bulls have a place in our ecosystem. Awards and Recognition : - Hetha was awarded the National Gopal Ratna award in 2018 for its meritorious work on indigenous cows. - Hetha was also recognised as the "Startup of the Year 2022" by Indian Chamber of Food and Agriculture (ICFA).
